基于把一个或多个滤波器连接到生成的复杂波或噪音的做法。减法合成是对复杂波谱的削减。最极端的情况是将声音削减成正弦波。

Based on the generation of complex waveforms or noise coupled to one or more filters, subtractive synthesis concerns the reduction of these complex spectra.
