The composer is using the different sounds of playing pool to create 'gestures'
The sounds are still recognisable as pool playing sounds, but are being 'abstracted' and 're-organised' to create interesting new sounds and combinations
Notice how the sounds increase in intensity towards a climax
The composer has used a reverb effect to create a clear ending to this section
This new section has a very different feel about it
The sounds have become less intense and quieter which changes the pace, dynamic and the overall 'feel' of the piece
Listen where the composer has added a delay effect (echo) to the coin slot sounds?
The pace is even slower now
Punctuated with sudden gestures
