主要与合成器和电吉他相关的一种电子处理手段，应用于信号，使之产生多个声音的效果。合唱效果建立在几个并行的，延迟线效果应用的基础上，每个延迟线的延迟时间，都集中在30-40毫秒范围内随机变化。合唱效果的使用，如同其术语名，由“独奏”输入声音源，制造出多个声音效果。
An electronic treatment, associated chiefly with the synthesizer and the electric guitar, applied to a signal to give the impression of a multitude of voices. It is based on the use of several parallel delay lines, each with a random variation of delay time centred on 30-40 ms, the chorus effect is used, as its name suggests, to create the impression of multiple sound sources from a 'solo' input.
