在用设备进行声音变换和抽象塑造时,设备自身的特性对结果的影响过大,有时会令作曲家误以为得出这样结果的原因是输入声音的特性或者作曲家本人呢的想象力,这便叫设备的强力行为。当对设备的标志性声音夸张使用,或者事件的发生压倒性地淹没了声音(和事件)本身时也可以用这个词。
尽管认识到这片领域的困难,我相信设备的强力行为具有一丝政治意味。强力行为不仅要为把设备的语言强加在音乐上负责,而且还支持了设备力量中的音乐性。
The strong action of devices for sound transformation and abstract-shaping occurs when these devices impose too much of their own characteristic effects, sometimes fooling composers into believing that the result obtained is due to characteristics belonging to the input sound or his or her imagination. The same can be said when an exaggerated use of devices marks sounds or events with a presence that overwhelms the sounds (and events) themselves.
Even though acknowledging the difficulty of the terrain, I believe that there is something political in the strong action of devices. Strong action is not only responsible for imposing on musics the language of the device, but also, by supporting a musicality based on the device's power.
