	This	作品	was	written	for	the	opening	of	the	Henie	Onstad	艺术	中心	near	Oslo	in	1968	with	Charles	Baudelaire’s	Les	Fleurs	du	mal	as	the	underlying	材料	There	was	especially	one	line	in	the	poem	Les	Bijou	that	captured	Nordheim’s	attention

	Arne	Nordheim	b	1931	was	a	leading	light	of	当代	樂/乐	is	regarded	as	the	当代	Norwegian	作曲家	who	has	实现	the	greatest	识别	beyond	the	borders	of	his	own	country	
	
	Nordheim’s	name	is	inextricably	linked	to	the	arrival	of	樂/乐	modernism	in	Norway	In	his	roles	as	作曲家	樂/乐	critic	and	champion	of	composers’	rights	he	ensured	that	international	trends	gained	a	foothold	during	a	period	when	Norwegian	樂/乐	was	still	影响	by	national	romanticism	as	was	the	rest	of	the	Norwegian	艺术	world	in	the	wake	of	World	War	II	
	
	He	研究	at	the	GRM	in	1955	and	afterwards	continued	to	作曲	電聲學/电声学	作品	at	the	Norwegian	广播	Corporation	In	1965	he	was	invited	to	作曲	at	the	Polish	无线电	实验	工作室	in	Warsaw	and	he	continued	to	visit	the	工作室	until	the	mid	1970s	where	this	作品	and	many	others	were	composed
